The owners of Blue’s Egg brunch restaurant on the west side are planning a second location, this one in Shorewood.
Dan Sidner, who owns the restaurant with chef Joe Muench, said plans aren’t final but are in the works for 4195 N. Oakland Ave.
That’s at the corner of E. Olive St., in the Mosaic building. The building, which has 96 apartments over about 16,500 square feet of retail space, opened this year.
The Mosaic’s first floor also has a Mod Pizza restaurant, a pet store, eyeglass shop and fitness center.
Sidner said that, if everything goes as planned, the restaurant would open about April 1.
